Comprehensive contract services
Working alongside landholders, civil contractors, investors and developers. PALS specialises in low rainfall revegetation projects.
Revegetation
Comprehensive contract services across Western Australia for your civil infrastructure, land development, mining revegetation and landcare projects. Draw on PALS over 30 years of experience and practical solutions to all your revegetation requirements.
Landcare Services
A practical approach to all landcare issues on farms ensures solutions for dryland salinity, erosion and fodder projects are implemented so they integrate into the individual landholder’s operations and paddock management.
Carbon Farming
Trees are a recognised tool to help sequester carbon. PALS works with clients generating Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) by planting trees. This can be achieved by merging tree projects into farm landcare as bio diverse plantings or as large-scale plantations.
Salinity Fodder
Making salt-affected land profitable by incorporating salt tolerant fodder into salt-affected dryland areas. The planting mitigates the effects of rising watertables.

Bill Davey works directly with all clients from the inception to completion of all projects.
The results are revegetation projects that are tailored to client requirements to optimise short and long term objectives. PALS aims to complete work with minimum fuss and follows through with back- up services after the work has been completed. This comprehensive commitment to good service is why PALS has become one of the leading landcare contractors in WA.
Principal of PALS, Bill Davey speaks about wheatbelt salinity and incorporating fodder crops so to make salt affected land productive.
Deryn Thorpe from All The Dirt chats with Bill Davey, an elder statesman of the Western Australian landcare industry, and then talks to his young supervisor Lachy Norman about his passion for planting trees and protecting the environment. Plantation and Landcare’s environmental team hand planted 1.8 million trees from June to August 2024.

Bill has been instrumental in making our landcare projects profitable. Integrating fodder shrubs (salt bush) onto our poor soil types has helped make our stocking program profitable as we are able to buy and sell stock when we want and not be govern by stubble feed value or hand feeding. We now have more than 80 ha of salt bush so we are able to hold onto mobs when others are selling. Planting out poor soil with trees has also lifted our paddock average yields

Bill’s company started our landcare and tree planting program about 10 years ago. We really appreciate his knowledge of species, systematic soil preparation and ability to integrate his landcare solutions into our broad acre cropping program. He gets an excellent strike rate and the trees have helped significantly with soil erosion. Bill plants the trees soon after the break, one of our busiest time of the year, but since he does the entire job we are free to concentrate on our cropping programRobert and Tanya Kitto, Mullewa
